1. Overview
These Terms apply to your purchase and attendance at NIIC. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to Thinkedu Pty Ltd, the organiser of NIIC. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms.
2. Tickets & Pricing
- Conference tickets include access to the full-day Friday program and the Thursday networking session.
- Dinner tickets are an optional add-on for Friday evening.
- Prices are listed in AUD and include applicable GST where stated.
3. Refunds
Refunds are available on the following schedule relative to the event dates:

| 3 months prior | 80% refund |
| 2 months prior | 60% refund |
| 1 month prior and closer | No refunds |
The refund structure is based on funds committed to the venue and suppliers. Venues do not provide refunds within one month of the event and offer scaled refunds earlier due to catering and reserved placement costs already incurred.
4. Ticket Transfers
You may transfer your ticket to another person at any time before the event begins. We require the transferee’s name, contact details, and dietary requirements no later than 2 weeks prior to the event start so we can update badges, seating and catering. If there are no dietry requirements, then you can transfere the ticket to someone else as late as on the day if you like, as long as you let us know who to be expecting. Please contact admin@niic.com.au to arrange a transfer.
5. Event Changes & Cancellation
- We may make reasonable changes to the program, speakers, schedule or venue.
- If the event is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price you paid.
6. Conduct & Safety
- Attendees must follow venue rules and applicable laws.
- We may remove any person whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful or disrupts the event.
7. Photography & Media
The event may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you consent to reasonable use of imagery for event documentation and promotion. If you have concerns, please let us know in advance.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss in connection with the event is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket(s). Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Accessibility & Dietary Needs
We aim to provide an accessible experience. Please contact us with accessibility needs or dietary requirements as early as possible (at least 2 weeks prior for catering).
10. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
